Photography
has always been a passion for me. In 1999, I moved to California to study
in Art and got my degree in Fine Art with a major in animation and a minor
in photography.
I traveled
across the USA and discovered beauty beyond my wildest dreams. I especialy
loved Utah with its red rock and high contrast in color. I was enchanted
to see the variety and abondance of the wildlife in California. Something
that I dearly missed in my native province of Quebec, Canada, where almost
all wildlife had been killed by hunters.
In 2000,
I discovered infrared photography and was instantly conquered by this
new form of photography. By hiding the visible light we can see the invisible
world which was hidden from our senses. With the infrared light, we can
see a world laying between reality and dream. A world that seems closer
to dream than reality...
